Doug Young is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in strategic initiatives that used disruptive technologies to achieve market dominance and scalability. He has founded numerous technology companies, each of which had successful exits to Fortune 100/500 companies such as 3M Corporation, MCI Telecommunications, Salem Communications, Landmark Media Group and Cox Communications. He and his team were engaged to lead each new venture following an acquisition.
He negotiated numerous acquisitions to augment growth strategies for each portfolio company. The business model he developed and used in his companies was selected by Harvard Business School to be a case study entitled, “Managing in the MarketSpace.”
He has a passion for entrepreneurial initiatives and strategic ventures and serves as a Mentor at Winston Starts. He brings an entrepreneur’s approach to cybersecurity to the Threat Sketch board.
